BIO:

Italy, 1982: Gigi discovered Heavy Metal with IRON MAIDEN & VENOM and started to play bass obviously for STEVE HARRIS & CRONOS… After some experiences with local bands, in 1993 joined MIND SNARE and for the following 18 years was the bassist/vocalist. During this time that band released 2 MCD, 3 FULL LENGTH CDs, 4 DEMOTAPES and two 7” VINYLS, and played hundred of gigs, supporting big bands as KREATOR, SUFFOCATION, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, VADER, ROTTING CHRIST, DISMEMBER, DECAPITATED, OBSCENE EXTREME FESTIVAL, etc. After forced to leave the band in 2011, Gigi take an off-period then started again to write music and founded this solo project called ASARMOTH. The style of the band came from Gigi’s primary influences as VENOM, CELTIC FROST, BATHORY plus the classic Death Metal band of the past like MORBID ANGEL, VADER, DEICIDE, etc.
In Asarmoth Gigi plays all instruments, using a drum machine  and with the support of a couple of friends (Carl & Ken, horns up!) that write some lyrics. The logo and the cover art of the debut album was made by a friend from Venezuela, The Crow Witch (hello pal!)
